Farewell to Our Chairman – Mr.Logan

It is with profound sadness that we announce that Mr. M. Loganathan Markandoo, Chairman of the Board of Governors, Co-Director and Co-Founder of Cranbridge Education Group Sdn. Bhd. passed away on 1 May 2020 peacefully at age 68. He was an intellectual, good leader, mentor, a role model to many, and a genuinely kind soul who always wanted the best for everyone, especially children. His values will forever be etched in Cranbridge’s Vision, Mission, and Beliefs.

Mr. Logan will be remembered as a visionary, a perfectionist, and the driving force behind Cranbridge. He oversaw Cranbridge Tutorial Centre’s events and academic decisions. He talked to the teachers and students when he saw them and loved to see them excel. He attended school events and watched his beloved team nurture the students of Cranbridge. He made sure the welfare of students and staff was taken care of. He did all this whilst staying out of the limelight because he was just that kind of a man, conscientious, meticulous, and modest. He provided a safe haven not only for the students but the teachers of Cranbridge.

With Cranbridge Tutorial Centre’s foundation firmly in place, Mr. Logan set his sights on establishing an International School. With his plethora of experience including having served as a Diplomatic Corp (PTD)in the Government of Malaysia, he steered the team together with Mrs. Logan and Mr.Arasu through various hurdles to realize this vision. On 17 March 2020, Mr. Logan’s dreams materialized when Cranbridge Education Group Sdn Bhd was granted the license to set up Cranbridge International School by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia.

His famous catchphrases “Stay Positive” and “Get, Going!” will always ring in our minds and keep us moving forward. We are blessed to have had him as our Chairman and Director. He will be missed but his legacy will live on through the values imparted upon us…

Mr. Logan will be succeeded by Madam Rena Logan as the Chairperson of Cranbridge Education Group Sdn Bhd. Madam Rena Logan is ready to take the reigns to lead Cranbridge to even greater heights.
